update on alfie.
he walks for hours, normally off his lead, he doesn't stray far at all from me and stops if he's unsure of what way to go, he'll happily walk for 2 hours and not be tired afterwards.
housetraining is going ok, bit slower than i hoped, he does wait at the back door to be out but you have a small gap of time and if you're not there he'll wee elsewhere, the odd time he just does it inside anyway.
he loves his bed, stays on it all night, naps on it through the day etc, rarely use the cage.
he entertains himself if there's nobody around to play, he's excellent in the car, he either sleeps on the backseat or climbs onto any passengers lap he chooses
