Hey all!
Got back from skegness on monday, brought back a souvenir, a 6 week old Jack Russell puppy!
Been looking into getting a puppy for ages and a Jack Russel was on the top of my list, always liked them so i seen a sign for them whilst out for the day in skegness along a country road, had a look and bought one the morning i left.
anyway, i'd really appreciate some tips on keeping him in check, i've read quite a bit on the internet, but i'd love to hear some personal experience with puppies, or with jack russel pups would be great!
I've already pretty much stopped him play biting and licking but not completely, just by giving him a little clip when he does it.
when he wants to be up near me i ignore him for a while and let him up in my own time, he's only done 2 whoopsies in the sitting room, they're really small in it's not carpet so not as bad, most times i've taken him in the garden he's went straight away. he was the same in the car when i stopped for toilet breaks lol.
he's coming out of his shell today and being quite a bit more playful and getting into more mischeif too!
any help with anything to do with him would be great! i know how important these early weeks are, i'l going to get him a cage tommorow to try and house train him
thanks for reading
There he is: i've called him Alfie
