If you have to ask then you don't need it. Why not get yourself some nice Abath badges, they'd be highly visible so everyone could see you had themhaha seriously whats the point?

Now, don't be mean. Sam is an enthusiastic youngster who's on a mission to buy something for his car
Tuning a 1.1 is relatively pointless - just save money until the time is right to buy a car car that's quicker to start with.
Oh it wasn't meant that way, well not really. I well remember when a roll of black and silver, chequered sticky tape was all a boy needed to make his car go faster. I rapidly progressed to skimmed heads, flat top pistons and stage 1 cams etc, but these cars just aren't as "user friendly" nowadays and, as you rightly say, a faster car in stock is a much better option. I must admit to not appreciating bolt on bling whereas the real deal with tints, under car lighting, flame exhausts and so on is true custom and another matter altogether. But on an Active? Oi veh. Already. Now, don't be mean. Sam is an enthusiastic youngster who's on a mission to buy something for his car
....
Not just on an Active but on an Active Eco. The clue really is in the title.
I was in an owners group with my previous car as well. There was a guy who lived near me who was also in that group. We met up on a few occasions and his car had every bit of tat on it going. I am sure he had driven his car through the shop window of the local Halfords Ripspeed department and everything had stuck onto his car. There was blue fairy lights under the car, under the arches, in the boot, under the bonnet and inside. Every window was tinted with DIY film even the front window. And in a stroke of genius/madness (and trust me im not making this up I swear) he had cable tied one of those little fire extinguishers to the FRONT of his bumper. Maybe he was convinced that in the event of a frontal crash the extinguisher would set off preventing any fires from starting.
hahahahahaha that made laught. did the police not stop him?

Just a thought and not meant as a real dig at anyone ...
but......
Why if someone buys a tiny little car and thrashes it through the gears to get some speed out of it, or gets perfect apex points through the bends to get the best lap times, they are consider as "normal" (semi normal at least) and its good thing... yet a soon as anyone mentions putting a new air filter, tuning the ECU, adding a bigger exhaust etc they are consider nutcases and told to buy a bigger car ?

The point is there is a difference between talking about driving techniques and tuning or modifying your car. Modifying though fun really is a mugs game (Been there and done that 4 times). So the mantra is, really that if your car does not do what you want it to do then buy a car that does because the trouble is as soon as you start making a car go faster, you then need to uprate the brakes and then uprate the suspension and so it goes on.
Also you never get the money back on modded cars so it makes far more sense to buy a car with the attributes you want in the first place. For example I had an MJ new and I thought about chipping it because the performance was just not very good really. But then it would still be all roly poly on the corners, so I cut my losses and bought a 100hp which was quicker everywhere, had better suspension for handling and also better brakes etc.
Nah, the Active is a cheap car. Fiat did the bare minimum required to get the co2 into UK band 'C' by one gramme to keep up with the likes of the Toyota Aygo et al.Personally I think the point behind the Active is that its an eco car. If you try to sportify it then you have lost the point of the car.

Look how different and much more conventional the Panda is compared to the Eco Basic concept car to which it has a vague resemblance.
£30 nowYou also say the Active isnt an eco car but its eco enough for me at £35 a year tax.
However I dislike the word cheap it is usually followed by nasty. Being cheap is usually not a good thing but in the Panda it is.
