My 1.4L Sport takes a few goes to start when cold. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Currently reading:

there is a software update to the ecu to help with cold start mapping, ask you dealer to apply it
Rob, maybe I'm wrong but this software upgrade is for the 1.2 only.
This is the first time when I read about cold start issues with a 1.4.
I also have a 1.4 and here in Hungary sometimes we've got pretty cold mornings but no problems so far...

Only had a quick look, but I can't find any software updates for the 1.2 regarding cold start issues?
Only one I know-of, and have found, is for the 1.4 16v (service news).

I'm talking about threads here in the 500 Forum. I just did a quick search in the 500 section with "cold start" keywords and all the issues related to 1.2 owners and the solution is the software update. This is the reason why I mentioned that I don't remember any cold start issues with the 1.4

i have problems starting my 1.4L also.
try a different fuel, i have problems with Shell and Mobil but BP seems to be fine!
i only use 98RON unleaded however. maybe ill try using normal premium next time and see if it makes a difference
