Technical Hazards On When Braking

Technical Hazards On When Braking

It's meant as a joke!!

No offense intended - I'm sorry if you were upset by it.
No humour allowed with this guy....
Kind of ironic he claims to be not overly sensitive

On a similar vein, @steveras57 , why dont you disable airbag too as you should be paying attention and not crash

I seem to recall someone having done this in the past.

Try loading up MES and navigating to "CAN Setup / PROXI Alignment Procedure" >"Adjustments" > "Hazard lights switch-on in deceleration".

I did look prior to posting, but after reading the above I had another look, and you are correct, I'll try it out later. Thank you (y) .

Not gonna bother commenting on any of the other comments.

Nothing toxic about my thread .... but the responses... well
Didnt intend to undermine your post! but also didnt expect sarcastic self-opinionated comments either!,
It has put me off contributing now!-may well just close account and get on with my life ! wont be the only one i suspect as the other (new) member who got similar comments and had his enquiry treated with derision by the same member has not posted or joined in since that event either!.
shame really as most of you all are great people and i have enjoyed the discussions! gonna take a breather and consider my position!

Sad to hear that, your input has helped me very much over the last few months. So its a big thank you from me. Just stick to reading till you feel like chiming in....works for me. 😎

These things fire off if you hit the pedal fast, not necesssary to hit it very hard. On the narrow lanes round here if a car comes round a bend you need to stop faast as , as often as not if you dont they wont and disaster will occur. Panda doesnt do this often so its a minor irritation.

I instinctively reach for the hazards when, braking on the motorway not for normal braking, (which rarely need be done if you're a sensible distance away) but when the traffic has slowed too much to be normal, only because I don't trust the herberts behind me to be concentrating. Hopefully it just alerts them enough to prevent them from ploughing into the back of me.

Mine don't self activate now, as turned them off. They're only useful for tell plod that you were speeding, and have just braked sharply when you saw them.
Anyway, I can (as far as I know) emergency brake as often as like when there's no one around. My tyres, my brakes, and my money. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Oh, yeah, "spirited" is the term I've seen quite a few times on here, well that. :ninja:

Reminds me I was in southampton Friday. Going round a big motorway roundabout at just under 30mph, quite fast enough, and the traffic lights turned red. I could stop easily and so did so. Some bozo lorry driver behind me who had been right up my trumpet in the 30 zone clearly couldnt stop so I had to move well over the line to make space or poor Panda would have been toast. It seems whatever you do there is always someone else to contend with. Yesterday I was on the A11 and looked in my mirror to move to the outer lane as the traffic was stopped and queuing. Car coming up from behind slowed dramatically and without need in that lane. I must have blinked or something and then realised I had not slowed nearly enough to stop in my lane. Thank god he passed me and there was room to change at the last second. Panda did this with ease but the driver ahead would have had a ot of choice words for me if he had the chance, and deservedly so. I could have gone verge side. Reflecting on my bad driving afterwards I m rather glad I didnt cause another smash. The new TV on the back seat might also have been toast. Its a long time since I got things so badly wrong thankfully. I wonder if Noops CIty brake would have activated had I been in him. At least I didnt hit the brakes which would have seen me in the back of the queue. A bit of a wake up call.
