how's your headlights in the snow if you've got HIDs without cleaning sprays/wiper?

no different. spray mine with deicer and clean them the same as i do with all the windows and rear lights.

exactly, the amount of heat from standard halogen 55w bulbs is impressive and will help keep the lights clear, more than HIDs? or do they still put out a fair bit of heat which helps prevent the build up of snow on lights?

or am i talking rubbish?

still give out a fair bit of heat but tbh either way makes very little difference. woldnt say talkign rubbish but never found it to make much difference

They still put out heat. Not as much as halogens but enough to clear any light snow off a headlight.

ahhh right thanks for clearing that up. just thought maybe that might be one of the reasons why you're expected to have washers with HIDs due to the reduced heat output.
