I believe Heston uses liquid nitrogen for rapid freezing of ingredients, he doesn't feed anything to people with liquid nitrogen still present in it.
I'm guessing some moron thought steaming smoky drinks where cool and found a way to get there hands on some liquid nitrogen, which has to be the most idiototic thing ever!! For years people have used dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide) for this, it's freezing point is no where near as low as liquid nitrogen, yet even then its still pretty harmful if swallowed. also LN requires all sorts of special handling and storage equipment so i can't see some night club willing to invest in. Chances are there will be a big law suit and the club will close long before the case is heard

Well if you're too stupid and feel the need to drink liquid nitrogen you deserve to have your stomach removed. Doesn't really matter if you see it on television.
if you are served it in a pub club or restaurant, you might think its safe. you might not even know whats in it. not many places give a full list of ingredients for ever thing they serve

I might do a ken block with my GP round the town centre then, then tell the fuzz that I've seen it on television so it's OK.
I think it's a shame, young girl whose life is severely restricted from now on when she was just out to enjoy her birthday.
