Update: this is all exactly the same with the radio disconnected.

Also attaching the pic of the ECU lead as I forgot to attach it!

Clear the code and retest

The keys will not work without the ECU

I am a bit concerned about the voltage at the oil pressure switch

I was confident it was the 5V reference volt I will have to double check

Right Key code is see by the antenna read by the body and passed to the ECU passed back to the body and passed on to the dash to switch the light out

U1600 could be a red herring

Not 100% sure what it means as U codes aren’t standard an immobiliser for one model doesn’t mean it’s the same for every model. .

Still concerned about the 11V at the oil pressure switch

The car here just driven off. I was 95% sure it should be 5V, I am 100% sure its 5V on a post 2012

Have to look back. I checked a few years ago and posted. See if I can find the post

I've just checked the ignition plugs and have no volts there, is that normal given I'm not cranking the engine?

Right there is a connector near the battery tray we will have to check for volts here

See if you can find it and what colour wires you have

There's a few connectors - what am I looking for exactly?

The ignition plugs have a black/yellow wire and a brown/red wire. The black and yellow wire is the one showing about 0.08V and continuity of about 60 ohms

Oh is that the immobiliser? I seem to remember reading somewhere it's under the fuse box
