Hi, I wonder if you can help me , I believe I have an issue with my panda 1.2 2008, I have changed the coils due to occasional misfire. I think I have a ecu issue. It's a magneti marelli 51793116, if I purchased a replacement from a breakers would I need to carry out any other programming. Thanks

Yes needs to virgin to accept the CODE sent from the body computer

Base models then just normally just work

Can't be done with most home software

Very rare for the ECU to fail

I know of 1 in the last 10 years or so

Wiring loom is fairly common fault though

But you have to step by step walk through it logically

Thank you, I disconnected the ecu and reset fault, driven 5 miles with no issues, I think it just dirty pins possibly, is there a good contact gel people use on these pins connections

People swear by Deoxit D5

Does depend what I am doing, circuit boards coved in a spillage might get a swim in 99% isopropanol for example

For general contact cleaner Servisol Super 10 is what I used for years and is half the price

But there are alternatives at £5 but never used them

Any error codes with the misfire
