British motorists pay more in tax on fuel than in any other European country, official figures disclose.

Hardley surprising - seems they are using the motorist as an easy target to pay back the Labour government deficit.

I also read somewhere that we are paying it back faster than any other EU country! What they seem to be blissfully unaware is it's linked directly with growth.
