Ha ha its started Beany... toldya!

Shell Helix in mine... OMG I gettin drawn in.... must resist lmao!

hahah, you love it!:D im going ask the dealer today how much for 5litre selina if its £40 or less ill buy it. (y) otherwise probably get shell of somet

Dealers have been know to use other than Selenia... And I doubt you will get 5 litres for less than £40 off them. My dealer sold me 2 litres of Selenia for top ups (which have never been required by the way) and when I looked closely they had sold me Selenia oil for PETROL turbo engines...

Beany its the spec that matters, Millers has been mentioned as a good option but focus on the spec. Check the spec for the Selenia turbo - diesel stuff and make sure you get the same or better.

I know some put anything in and nowt has happened yet but who knows....

Keep in mind your turbo bearings and the reason you are doing interim oil changes... (y)

I think the halfords oil is expensive, if you are going to pay quite a few £s you may as well get a leading brand, although quality wise its probably much the same.

When I raced I used Tesco's oil  with some Wynns Supercharge in, I never had an engine fail while others using Mobil 1 etc, had failed engines, and they struggled to believe I spent only a fraction of their oil spend on mine.

Halfords oil is made by shell btw ;)

ORLY? Post earlier says its made by Esso...

"Anyway the chap behind the counter told me Halfords Oil is just Esso. I wouldnt use it though, you get what you pay for." (Post 16) What proof does anyone have?

No doubt it is made by someone but who?
