None as I already have 2 classics 😂 but if money was no object then it would either be an original very early Mini Cooper S with dry suspension (pre 1964), Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio with all the toys or an ex works Group B Lancia Delta S4 but that's a dream that's not within reach yet especially the last one 😂 so I've got some subtle upgrades planned for my Seicento as I don't want to stray too far from the originality of the car but just make her a little better along with a new clutch & a new rear bumper, the only noticeable thing will be the new to me Cinquecento Sporting rims going on, the rest will be in the engine department & underneath so nice & subtle 👌

I like the idea of buying an old fiat and renovating it, but I'd imagine it'd take forever. And the old classics from my past are Ford anyway.

I'm not sure what I'll end up buying, but something fiat this year.

If you'd have asked me this time last year I'd have said none... then five days later I'd have bought my CT.

...You're putting bad notions in my head of doing it all again...

But maybe this time around, the finance company would say 'enough is enough' lol

In all seriousness though, probably nothing this year. As the new Grande Panda comes closer to release though, I know which one I'd like to buy. I think waiting for used models to come down in price and seeing what it's really like, hopefully some owners on here of recent Fiats buy them and give us a real, honest view of what it's like and it's really a new Panda in more than name.

@AnthonyH would you buy the new Panda or 600E? they seem to be the freshest new models

Hmmm, thats an interesting question.

And i'm going to pick the 600E. I've chosen mostly on the cosmetics, the 600E looks gorgeous I think, and much more in keeping with a Fiat. The Grande Panda, doesn't look like a Panda, so i'm not sure about the naming, and i can't currently bring myself to see passed the SUV look, which isn't really for me.

Which would you run to? Or away from? LOL.

Here's the 600E;

The grill makes me think of a popular computer game called Minecraft, its...whats the word...blocky :)

I must admit I hadn't checked UK prices and now realize that actually they aren't so expensive over here at all (I thought they were going to be around £12k in the UK).

Maybe I should investigate parking spaces (that's the killer in Taipei - can easily add an extra £200 a month just to rent a space, we don't have (free) on-street parking in my area) 🤔

I have set my goal for this year on 1 of two options, either,

Option 1
Doblo MK3 1.4 16v MPV, to which I will then look into a Turbo swap to give it the go and then some other supporting mods like brakes, suspension and wheels.

Option 2
2008-10 Audi S6 Avant 5.2 V10, and just have a ready to use sleeper lmao.

Driving it along a beach would be cool!

The Audi S6 is the one to get, maybe you shouldn't look at the price of parts before buying it lol.

I like both. I like that they're building on the Fiat legacy of the 50s/60s design that has proven itself this century too. As well as reserving this new Panda as a quite contrasting, blocky, square and quirky design that puts practicality as high on the priority list as styling. That builds on the 2000s Panda + 500 combination which has been so successful for Fiat. Now into the 2020s... I hope it works enough to keep their head above the water in the unpredictable waters of Stellantis where I'm sure, with some poor sales figures to back it up, the French brand execs would love to brush it to the side...

Picking up the new family bus tomorrow. It's replacing a VW Tiguan. Positive that I'll have range anxiety and no doubt worry (as it will definitely happen) that the wife will scuff the 21" alloys.

hmmm, I probably need to start considering a new car, given my VW is going to be 10 years old and has now covered over 100K miles, and I am hopefully changing jobs to one where I will be covering a lot of miles again.

I am torn between something fast and something Electric.

Not going to buy a Tesla ever.

I do like the Suzuki Jimny but they are stupidly expensive here.

Maybe Golf R. Maybe some sort of ID car just not the ID3 because its ugly.

Or do I finally go and take a proper look at the T-roc Cabriolet? I also quite liked the Mercedes C-Class Convertible.
