Mrs asked me to take her car last night and fill it up because it was very very low on petrol and she needs the car for her work (community nurse). Since she also has a job interview today and she was really stressing out about it, I didn't tell her to **** off and do it herself for fear of being stabbed in the face.
Anyway, I went to Tesco ( :yuck: ) because it's the only one near here, at about 9pm thinking the numpties would have got their fuel and gone home by then. But no! I was greeted by a forecourt full of cars jostling to be the next to get to the pumps and the queue was about 15 cars long onto the road :bang:
Wish I'd risked being stabbed in the face instead
Edit: Forgot the part of it that made me smile, although it was a smile of disbelief and bewilderment...
The woman at the pump in front of me queued all that time and was only at the pump long enough to put in about £5 worth of fuel - in a Range Rover Sport. Must have burnt more fuel than that just queuing!
