Parked up at work today (NCP car park) and noticed that the car I parked next to had no window.

It was soon apparent that the window had been smashed with glass all over the seats. The back seats had been lifted up to gain access to the boot and from what I could see, were wires probably for speakers.

I reported to 101 at 7.30 and at 4.00PM today, the car is still there for anyone to get into.

For some reason, the alarm light was still flashing.

Car is a skoda fabia VRS.

Any ideas if I should do anymore as I have reported it, but nothing has been done yet?

quite a strange place to burgle a car consider the car park films the cars coming in etc and there is cameras in neqrly every level, surely someone will have the thieves on tape, outrageous!!

Was their glass on the ground?

Could be someone found but needed to get to work and didn't have time to do anything about it, maybe figured its all been nicked so why bother securing the car?

It's amazing how many people won't report things to the police.

I walked past a car on the way to work that had been broken in to the other week, brand new VW Bettle.

Didn't think anything of it, didn't report it to police.

Turns out the next day that it was the girl sat opposite me's car (grammar wtf?).

I felt guilty and didn't say anything. Now I will report any cars that I see that are broken in to lol.

How.

When was the last time you filled in your phone number on the V5C etc? Is there even the option? Don't think I've ever done it

The car is registered to your address?

but no ive never filled in a phone number :)

it's gone now anyway so god knows what happened.
Ziggy122: yeah nothing more i can do, if i saw it happening then maybe but i didnt :)
