yep.

how many layers of colly did you put on? just the one? I'd reccomend another layer if so, to give it that wetter look.

saying that, i still need to put a few more layers on mine

just the one. and i didnt do to well with it.

got some work ill be getting done soon mind so will probably do it after that.

speaking of work. how much should i be looking to pay for getting my mirrors and door handles colour coded?

Gd luck Carl, want to see you driving so you can come to these meets in April. Why didnt you stick the FF stickers on you windows?

thanks lee. basically (as daft as it may sound) i didnt put them onthe windows as with beinga learner at the current point in time i want as much visability as i can get. plus more people will see them on the front and back when im at the traffic lights or whatever.

i presume like most waxes (it seems very similar to the stuff i use on my snowboard) you have to buff it in. and i dont think i did a very good jobwith it (think i used a bit much if nothing else)

nuh uh

you apply, leave it to cure (it goes murky white) about 15 mins depending on what the weather is like. and then buff it off.. and it comes off like a white powder

well i wanted to put them on the front and back so it was either put them where they are, in my number plate borders (too big plus im changing my plates) or not put them on.

ive just emailed a company about tints so they will probably get back to me on monday.

so sepending on how much they are wanting ill be getting myself a late crimbo pressie :)

When I got the body shop to colour code my wing mirrors, it cost me £20 a wing mirror; so £40 in total. (y)

And for colour coded door handles I got quoted £50 a door handle; because for a decent job the door has to be removed to remove the handle from the door. Wasn't worth it for the door handles, but I got my wing mirros done!

omg i missed carl doing his first mod lol :) (y) must have had my head in the sand at the time.

GSR kit looks good mate and well done giving your car a good washing / detailing whatever you wish to call it, it's starting to look good.

Tre wise, i have heard a lot of good things about the khuma's. I have the toyo proxes t1-R firred to the rear of mine and they do offer awesome grip, even in the wet. Can't wait to change the fronts now.

Good luck with your driving test (y)

i understand the need for safety (ie, no unexpected oversteer into hedges) but i much prefer having the front grip, and just dealing with any lift off oversteer. (that is, if you even get such a thing in a GP with standard suspension and geometry)

Again, its all about the balance and setup of the car, but its safety versus cornering grip.
