:yeahthat:

theyre purple vinyl sidestripes not strips.

as ive recently came across some cash the alloys are on the cards for march but possibly february if i can get some cheap enough.

looking for some t jet or m jet alloys to get sprayed black at a later date.

a tad worried what they wil do to the diff and gearbox mind.

Don't skimp on the alloys and rush it, even though you may need to keep saving for a refurb in the new future.

Imo, keep your steelies til you've got more experience driving, but this has been bought up time and time again.
Save your money now tbf.

im not going to put the alloys on for at least a few months and likely wont be able to get any till march at the earliest. what i mean is if i see some T Jet or M Jet alloys at a good price i will get them.

as was just mentioned in Jamie's thread there has been a lot of rethinking about my plans so here is an update:

Purple interior light (will replace with superbright LED or neon as is not bright enough)

Black drum brakes

Blue sidelights

Blue diadem indicators (shine amber)

Punto brakelight cover (removed)

all other none transferable mods are currently out of the equation at this time.

Carl,

with regards to your planned mods...

why the blue indicators? your going for a black and purple theme (which in fairness now your not doing half the tat you had planned wont look too bad), why are you going for blue indicator bulbs? Just go for silver ones, they do stand out quite a lot and will look like a mish mash of colours!

are you doing the purple and black Fiat badges yourself? I highly doubt they will look very good to be honest, but as always, i am willing to be proven wrong.

rubber mats really arent very nice to have in the car- instead, i'd reccomend having 2 sets-a set of decent Fiat ones and a cheap set of universal ones. use the universal ones when its crap weather etc, and then use the decent set when its a bit better! However, rubber boot liner always handy and no one ever sees it.

And lastly, why the purple interior light? I think you may have guessed i'm not a fan of coloured ones... Sure, have purple footwell lights but your interior light would be so much better white- get a super bright white festoon bulb!

i bought and fitted blue indicators a i had blue headlights and sidelights and rather than just deyoking thought it would look better as a full set of blue plus i hate chrome anything on any car other than an american or a classic car.

yup im doing the badges myself. sand them down a bit mask off the red part and spray the badge black then remove the masking and mask off all the black parts and spray the red part purple ( about two to four coats each) then about four coats of lacquer.

i would like carpet mats but they are completely impractical for me hence the rubber mats.

i bought thte purple interior light as at the time thought it looked good. but have found it to be impractical as it is not very bright and is in fact a black light. so wll be replacing it witheither a superbright purple led festoon or a purple neon. the same applies to the footwell leds.

huh:confused:

Depends matey, could be selling my KEI's before the powder coating...

well if you are intersted in selling your standard wheels let me know as im not paying fiat near enough £700 for a set for me to most likely curb them.

depending on what you want for them my offer would be £450 max at the mo but may be prepared to negotiate a price.

The M-Jet wheels at the mo would be round £170 mark... BUT if the car goes, the M-Jet wheels go with it. Then the KEI's will go... price, id be open to offers.
