Just need a few words of wisdom to clear things up as I'm a bit puzzled by an issue.
I had my car taken to the garage the week before last to sort a few bits out, they did and 2 days later I went away on holiday, but in them two days I discovered a knocking noise that was caused by something they did, so while I was away I asked my stepdad to take the car in to the garage and fix the exhaust noise, but when he got the car back they had fixed the exhaust... And fitted me a new tyre ( without asking first) I have to add, the tyre they replaced was illegal, BUT my stepdad was going to get me two new tyre put on straight after going to the garage as his friend owns his own tyre place.
They've charged me for the tyre that I didn't want but can I tell them I'm not paying it because I didn't ask for that to be done?? It's only a £50 tyre, bug when the bill is in excess of £400 it makes a difference.
