Wow that must have been one hell of a perforation for them not to be able to salvage any stomach tissue
.
She and her family are considering making a civil claim against the bar for compensation.
Beware Jason, if I come down to your place for that bbq I'm going to injure myself in some way and sue youFrom that article:
I hope she gets laughed out of court and has to pay full costs. How many times does this need to be said? SHE DRANK LIQUID NITROGEN! This doesn't mean she's entitled to compensation it means she's a f**king idiot.

but she didn't go out and buy liquid nitrogen and drink it, she was served an beverage that was supposed to be drinkable
at the end of the article is responses to the story from the public. It seems the majority seem to think the establishment is at fault?
Since when were the majority of people to be trusted? Most people probably still think Fiats are unreliable rusty things......
I didn't shoot you!Never said they were to be trusted, a lot of people read these responses as they do with the posts/threads here on FF...don't shoot the messenger.
There's some really interesting points being made on that article by the public, one point is I bet the barman feels bad whether he is to blame or not![]()
I saw a picture the other day on FB saying that we shouldn't test stuff on animals when we've got prisons full of paedo's we could be testing on. Firstly, I don't like animal testing, but what kind of sick people would test on other humans even if those humans have committed horrible crimes? It's like Nazi Germany again.....
no Nazi Germany killed and experimented on innocent people
“It is said that no one truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails. A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones.”
We're too kind too ours. More hospitable than most travelodges lol.
i refer you again to the Liebeck v. McDonald's case

If it was burning, you wouldn't be able to get a massive amount on your mouth before spitting it back out and having a big glass of water.A beverage which was bubbling, unlike any beverage she previously had consumed in her life.......
If you went to a restaurant and you got served something that was burning, would you eat it just because you were in a restaurant and assumed that everything that was served was safe?
Probably not asking the right person I suppose......

This was totally drinkable and didn't cause the damage until it was inside her stomach.
I agree the bar should take responsibility - unless there was a massive warning sign somewhere, it shouldn't be assumed she knew there was a problem.
