Ask Jodie to pm the one I sent her to you. I make them up as I go along and that's probably the closest I'll ever get to it written down. I add and remove ingredients dependent on what I have in the house at the time. Although I will be following a recipe when I try this one at the weekend as I've never made minestrone before.

BBC food is a great source of recipes if you're looking to try something new.

Yesterday should have been a good day for me. I got some salmon from the fishman which I was going to grill and serve with steamed green beans, cabbage and carrots but I left it in the fridge at work doh! So out came the not-so-healthy curry I had saved in the freezer as a treat.

Oh well, tonight will be healthy instead

Walked to and from work yesterday, 4miles. Walked this morning and will bike home tonight.
Tried rice noodles with d.c chicken last night, not as nice as it is made with egg noodles or rice.

I had to google diet coke chicken. I'm a bit undecided about this as it sounds foul but it appears to get good reviews from people. Does it really taste like bbq chicken?

Smells absolutely vile tbh when cooking, but tastes soo good. You barely taste the diet coke, it's a bit like a sweet sort of bbq taste

Think Gill is going to try it with beef one night

@Harper - got the pm, cheers. Will maybe try making some home made soup next week.

Really letting this whole health kick go to pot this week. On top of this weekend I've put in some extra shifts this week due to illnesses etc so been grabbing something as and when. And snacking again. Oops!

First thing I plan to do when I get back on Sunday is go for a nice cycle...

Yet another mixed week for me. On the days when I'm good I'm very, very good but on the bad days...

On the upside I have started introducing short runs into my walks which is a big step forward. Just for one song after the first mile and another song 1/4 mile before I finish but I'll keep building from there. Thankfully there's no sign of the dreaded shin splints returning yet so perhaps I've finally learned my lesson

It sounds like we all need to make more of an effort this week. Anyone willing to post an aim?

Mine is no chocolate, crisps or alcohol until Friday night.

It's going to be a long week :(
