i like where the air filter is, have you sited it there for any particuler reason?

Yes its there for maximum air flow, plus its a straight line from the turbo.

Vanaaken quote around 104 bhp...
But i sure with a bit of tinkering its poss to get around 110-120 bhp out of them.
Figure quoted on paperwork for mine was 102

low boosters are 85-90 bhp iirc

Emm, how much was Williams clio oil filter?

the filter is Halfords HOF 272, think its about £7, its diff from the Clio 16V filter, listed in Halfords as 2L Clio 1995-1997 i think.

Mini update!

Taken turbo cinq for a test drive round the block, seems to have a slight brake problem. Turns out to be a sticking handbrake cable, so waiting for fiat to get the part in, can't believe its not in stock Will be fixed on wednesday and MOT'd on thursday.

PS does anyone elses cinq have a long brake pedel?

lol well yes, its not meant to be long, my other cinq's pedal was firm and short, don't like this long pedal :bang:

Yes, the whole system has been bled and it still feels awful. My dad said might have to change the master cylinder, But luckily we still have Aaron's red wrecked car so can get that one and try that.

There will be longer pedal travel from using the standard cinquecento master cylinder as you're pushing bigger pistons, but not to the extent you're describing.

Mine was similar though, i wound the pistons in and out a couple of times then re-bled the system and that seems to have sorted it mainly. Also it bites alot better now the disks and pads have bedded in. But still not as firm as what it was like before

If you pump the brake pedal a few times it goes nice and stiff rigth from the top though, due to the vacuum assistance. Mine doesnt really bite till about a 1/3 down the pedal travel normally
