If you disconnect the MAPYep.

On the plug or the sensor itself? If you disconnect the MAP

Again - the plug itself or the sensor that I disconnected from the throttle?Ignition on and off
Battery disconnect
Sensor disconnected
Between pin 2 and 3 of the MAP sensor, is there a short. Middle pins
PlugAgain - the plug itself or the sensor that I disconnected from the throttle?
Right - with battery connected and with both ignition on AND off, there is no continuity.Plug
YesLeave it unplugged
Ignition on
Black test lead on battery negative
Is it still 5V on the two centre pins of the map sensor
And that's supposed to connect directly to the ECU?Pink and black
NoAnd that's supposed to connect directly to the ECU?
Please don’t rewrite anythingSorry I mean without going through any junctions or anything.
Basically should I rewire according to the original wiring diagram (attaching the original and how mine is for reference)
It does say green to ground on the diagram and white to +, which is why i labelled my diagram with the voltages taken at each wire.Let me double check
the 5V and ground are the wrong way round on the CAM sensors I suspect a typo on the diagram
I did expect green to ground
Green is 5V on other models so looks like a typoIt does say green to ground on the diagram and white to +, which is why i labelled my diagram with the voltages taken at each wire.
So is it fair to assume the white wire is the actual ground?Green is 5V on other models so looks like a typo
Should have picked it up earlier but was only looking for 0V and 5V on the outer pins
