If the car lunges forward, then you probably have not got off the throttle before changing gear, ie you are holding the revs to an extent.

Other option might be you're bouncing off the rev limiter ....

Apparently that is one of the tricks of the trade and when you try to buy at those incredible prices they are never in stock. So they then try to sell you a car at the current price git's ain't they........

The person I spoke to was very helpful and very serious about stock levels.
She even located a 1.1 Active c/w 3rd rear belt option and in yellow; available within 2 weeks. Timing / Luck of the draw I guess....

I even saw 1.1 Actives recently for £4995 but was miles away....

They were a month ago, obviously they now have the mythical stock

I'm used to a 500 mile round trip to collect a car, as long as I haven't got to go to the factory to collect it
