Isn't it ridiculous they leave it out?
Probbaly coasts quite a lot to put in if you consider the volume if cars. Time spent making them is the main concern, as you say the parts like this are cheap.

I have indeed fitted the strips but not taken a pic yet, they do look superb and the VW paint is virtually spot on
