On Sunday I went to put some bags in the boot of my 100HP and noticed the carpet was wet.
When I got home, I removed a soaking wet carpet and found the spare wheel was sitting in a pool of water 3/4 of the way up the recess.

Anyone else had problems like this?
Only thing I can think of is where I park on the drive with a slight incline to the back of the car, the torrential rains the last few weeks has run down the roof and in round the boot lid?

I have dried boot out and parked the car the other way round to see if it happens again.

Just glad I didn't order the spare wheel sub woofer I was looking at a few months ago!

NEVER got damp in 10 years of ownership.., (y)

favourites will be;

grommets around hatch cable-entry,
grommett around wheel arch,
rear wiper motor grommett
Aerial grommett,

can you see a pattern in this..Wallace..:D

a little damp can be brakes in rear wash tube . but sounds like you've got an entire tankful in there..,:bang:

Looks like an ideal place for a sub.....

I had a small amount in my boot not as bad as this but mine was the rubber seal with taking buggy in and out it knocked it outta place and water was seeping in caught before got too bad also had a issue when i replaced reg plates used sticky ones and water was seeping in the drill holes for orignals mite not be but worth a look

I had a car with a leaking boot a few years ago. We stripped off the trim, I climbed inside with a torch and shut the boot while my brother ran a hose around the rear window and all the panel gaps. It made quick work of finding the leak.

This weather seems to be reeking havoc with vehicles at the moment.

I wonder how many people went out and had a quick look in the boot of their panda after reading this...I know I did..:D

Not me. My Panda is still getting fixed. Haven't seen him in over a week now. :-(

Where wasit getting in? The foam seal around the rear light unit connections?

I doubt we will now get an update

Original thread was 2014

And original poster hasn't logged in recently

There's been many threads that are far more recent

There's lots of reasons for water entering the boot, they all been covered more recently
