Dave, pricing muck up on Dell, they often honour them (but DO check before it goes through so may phone to say "we made an error, sorry, do you want to purchase at full price?). But:

http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&s=dhs

Use evalue code (bottom right)
101 - D03306

Change CPU to 3.0ghz P4 HT
Change memory to dual channel
Remove warranty to put it to 1 year only
inc. 17" monitor (CRT)

£171 inc. postage.

No guarentee it will go through but it usually does.

Even beter:

101 D03306

Do the same, DVD CD-RW and speaker for prac same.

£178 INC. VAT and postage.

was ready to jump on a good offer there :( really need a new comp lol

The graphics card is awful.....it's a computer for business tasks.

Alex, if you try again it should work, i have done it 3 times now and worked twice, failed once.

Same here, keep perservering and it will get to basket eventually.

Dell always amaze me at the price level of their options - £23.50 to add a FDD, for instance.

Can't complain at upgrading the CPU though and them subtracting £90 though hey Stu?

I can give you one to get it with 17" TFT I think for £220.

Dave's here now.

You should try it a few times.

I have heard you can't (CAN'T) upgrade the GPU. You can't disabled it. No idea if correct.

Dell 3000 + 19" TFT only £316!!! Use E-value code 101-D03302C
E193FP 19" LCD TFT Dell price £292 and here you are getting whole packege for £316!!!
Don't miss it!!!

Change 2.8ghz to 3.0ghz
Change warranty to 1year
Change memory option

Yes PCI cards no problem

Quoted from rpoints.

Apparently it has ended now.

With dell, they will check through each order to confirm it (a human does this). They will decide if they can honour it. If not, expect a phone call to apologise for "pricing error" - if this happens it's fair enough. They won't have charged your card etc. and this is clear to see on the website.

They honoured last time and thousands possibly went through.

stu; got consoles for games :) dont think i'll be getting it as need to go out now and cant get thru to next page lol
But console doesn't have America's Army on it ;)

Looking at tech specs, it has Integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 AND 3 PCI slots, but no mention of AGP slot.

Still, can't knock it at that price :)
