as you may know, ive bought Pauls old Gericom laptop, but the reason its cheap was the paint wear (i can live with) and a dead battery (which i thought i could live with )

anyone know where i can get a new battery for my "new" laptop?

ive google'd it, but they all look a little dodgy looking, and all the sites like dabs dont have it

so? anyone

also, anyone know wher i can get hold of those little stickers that say "designed for XP" and "nVidia"that sit on the palmrest?



as im gonna have it resprayed and will have to take them off but want it to look as standard as possible?

I gave you a page of a yahoo search a few days ago, you're looking for "Gericom hummer battery" or if you don't mind going European (cheaper) "Gericom hummer akku". The chassis is (i think) a 755 uniwell, used by fujitsu amilo, advent, Ei systems amoungst others, so...

Important you get the 14.4v version and not the 10.8v (i think).

Since it is used for so many different models it may be a good idea to try different searches using the code for the battery etc.
