We only have a small kitchen, so only room for a small fridge/freezer. A couple of yers ago our old unit gave up, and we replaced it with one the same size ... outside. But due to the need to make everything consume less energy, there is more insulation, making the internal size significantly smaller. We have go tused to the smaller fridge, a bit tight at times, but the freezer is like two Panda gloveboxes. Won't hold a fortnight's food, let alone 3 months.
Had an idea we could put a freestanding freezer in the garage. They seem to be more expensive than a full height fridge/freezer, perhaps due to recent demand, but then I thought, there's nothing in the shops to fill one with.
Sainsbury's and others are giving priority times to 'vulnerable' people. Hopefully can get myself on that list.
