I have water in the boot of my Fiat Punto, underneath where the spare tyre kit is stored. I have just emptied over 5 litres of water out! I can't see where the water is getting in..any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Water leak in boot | FIAT Punto Evo
Have a significant water leak into the boot on left hand side (as looking into the boot) and wettest area seems to be the top left of the picture ANyone had anything similar? Will need to strip out that left hand panel and 'shelf' soon, to try to see where it is coming from

Now will look to see if I can fix the gap from the outside. Maybe clean the area and try a sealant. See if this works 🫣. Well cleaned and resealed with the round plate reset in sealant after rust treatment.

My boy has a 2012 Punto 1.4 8valve which had this problem. It was leaking in past the seal behind the light unit.
Wish i had tried this fix.Other people have mentioned this on Punto 199
One showed an ePER image of the missing seal parts
I've had 3 of these cars,
only 1 has leaked, None of them had seals..
The 1 that leaks has been butchered/abused, bulb holder broken etc
I have worked on the Body panel sealant in the last month, this seems to have helped
