General Heating in fiat punto

I was wondering if anyone can help, I have a 2012 fiat punto and the heating seems to be playing up. It will turn on for a few minutes then suddenly stop or make a clunking noise. Has anyone had this before or know what the issue could be?

Its the same dash as my 2012+ punto

So it turns on for a few minutes then starts sounding very clunky. Then eventually turns off.
If I drive over a speed bump sometimes it kicks back in.
Very bizzare!

So..
It will turn on without fail every time you get in the car..

But after a few minutes use it starts making noises.. like the flaps are trying to change direction

Its basically the same innards of all the small FIAT dashboards.. so the 500 section will have LOTS of information

A common failure is the drive mechanism for the Airdirection flaps.. but in your situation.. try this 1st as it takes 1 minute.. to reset the system

Hi all I have a 08 bravo T-jet 1.4 turbo, when I bought it one of the fan's only had hot and the other cold, few months later the whole heating and ac have completely stopped, I comes back on once in a blue moon, Any suggestions Thanks
