Do you not think with it being leather it would be a good idea to use leather cleaner on it?

Matt always gets there first, leather probably doesnt like washing up liquid

If you use washing up liquid you are just gonna dry the leather out and it will start to look even worse, then you need to buy another nob.

well look at it this way. you have a leather sofa, you spill some dinner on it. what do you clean it up with ? a damp cloth

I'm an insomniac, last night at 2am I started reading this post, got through 50 pages or so and couldn't do the last 18. Finished it this morning.

And if there is anybody out there than can give me that hour or so of my life back I would be willing to pay.

Carl, nice to see you have ideas, and tbf you have a newer car than me. However when I was your age (2-3 years ago) I was running my own car, tax insurance, mot, petrol, mods, etc....and I'm at university. I work part time in a newsagents, get about £400 a month, spend about £100-£150 and put the rest in an account. Then when you get a prang, or find that perfect part on eBay you can just go out and buy it. Money making is all about self control and MOTIVATION. I kow there isn't much work out there but once you find that illusive job this gets so much easier.

Fair play for putting up with all the stick though, must be that midlanders spirit

As for the car, do you have any plans for ICE, new HU, Sub, Speakers?

I think its a worth while mod as long as you didnt pay over the odds. I used leather boot polish restorer on mine because it was well warn in one place. Then I used autoglym leather cream because ill be buying leather seats for my Bravo soon, so it wont go to waste.

nah i just put up with the stick as i can give it pretty badly when i can be arsed as well (ie dont serve what you cant eat)

got quite a few plans but will have to see how far i get with them yes including ice.

oh and for the record i do work as i repair computers on behalf of my dads business however it is not consistent so i get paid whether i have had any repairs to do this month or not.
