got a good few coats of wax on the gp an all been waxing it since 1:30 and only just finished

will get some pics in my lunch break tomorrow

why not get some vinyl cut for the mirrors? like mini strips or something? it would be cheaper and removeable

Carl how long are you leaving it between coats? Most stuff is put on 1 coat then you should leave it 30mins to one hour untill you put on another coat then some wax's say you have to leave it 24s before you put on any more coats as you arent letting the wax do its stuff if you put on too many coats at once.

Purple mirrors, if they were quite dark it could look good but at the end of the day its not hard to sort if they look crap, you just sand them off and respray them again.

To be honest matt I dunno but shines like a mirror and beads nicely which is good enough for me.

On the mirrors if I do them (still debating it)

I'll go pretty dark and get my sidestripes to match.

Gotta order some spare stripes anyhow as one is peeling a little after I caught it with my washmitt.

If I get the mirrors done I'll definitely get them painted as purple vinyl fades quickly

he's using collinite 915 (iirc) which you should leave 24 hours between coats if possible...

Rolfy, because you dont like to wait between putting coats of wax on i recommend Jetseal 109. You only need to leave it 20 mins between coats and you cover the whole car then buff off at once.
