****ing hell, some of you people have no sence of humour what so ever, this place is so ****ing politicaly correct no adays!

Yes we are so politically correct  We remove EVERYTHING that could be taken wrong EVERYTHING!!!!

If you mean the racist stuff etc - that is OBVIOUSLY racist then yes it will be removed. Other things we let slide...

I know wnat you mean though, the steve Irwin thread got heavily moterated too because all the moderators and a lot of users on here have no sense of humour :)

And I see matt68 has found his spoon too - comes in useful that :)

Haven't posted on this thread, so thought I'd add that it was sad to hear about Hammond 'Hamster', but good news that he seems to be making a speedy recovery. He's a great presenter with boundless enthusiasm, and it's a pleasure to watch him on Top Gear with Jeremy and James. It wouldn't be the same without him.

Regards to the 'pc' cartoons, come on. Top Gear was always about being upbeat and mickey taking, and I'm sure Hamster would be laughing his head off as well had he seen them.

They weren't malicious or nasty, just light hearted in the spirit of Top Gear. Made me laugh, and hopefully Richard will see them too and laugh as well. Laughter is the best remedy after all...

Watched the news this morning and apparently he is talking and joking with his wife, so it looks like he is on the mend.

Just to let you know that a workmates wife who works in LGI and on the ward where Hammond is now, has seen Hammonds notes and the 'significant brain injury' turns out to be swelling on the brain for anyone still interested

i've been wondering what they meant when it said "significant brain injury" because it seems he's been talking to people fine. thought it could have been memory loss, but at least he's recovering :)
Well dont forget when he went in he wasent talking or resonding much at all thats prity bad.

I would hope that they took my injry seriosly if i was not able to talk walk or even open a beer.

He has recovered well it could have easily been a lot worse. Dead. or coma or even alive but not able to function on his own. he would have hated not being able to drive biut being able to hear cars and see them.

anyway. dont know if top gear will be on yet. hope it is and hope he makes an apearence. but you know if he does make some apearence he will want us all to see him balls up big style. he always makes sure his crashes and hes had a few are on top gear.

apparently they're not showing Top Gear while Hammys in hospital but once he's made a full recovery they'll be putting it back on the air

Just watched the news and Hamster has been transferred to a hospital near his home.

Good news.(y)

wow the photos of him being taken into the helicopter being transferred are brilliant, nice to see he's smiling.

he's apparently making really good progress.
