I think it would be abit insensitive for top gear to show it imo. I do hope he makes more of an improvement. Just seen it on the news and lets hope the damage isnt too bad and he pulls through for his family.
really bad news, but we've all seen past TG shows and Hammy is always doing something to himself. I'm sure he'll be fine. *fingers crossed*

Yup hope he recovers full, doesnt look good at the mo.
Heard about this in a pub in Mallaig. What a great personality the guy has. Hope for his family's sake he makes a better than expected recovery.
Go hamster, just heard the news on the radio that his condition has been downgraded to stable, keep up the gd fight and hope he is on his feet soon

Good to hear he out of intensive care. The high dependancy unit is a lovely unit, is where ma gran was after her op. Lets hope the brain damage isnt as bad as they think for his familys sake. Heard a rumour they meant to be scrappin top gear though.
Anyone else heard anything about it wasnt meant to be him driving?
From what i read.. it was meant to be James may... he`d had a weeks training.. but couldnt get to do it.... so they gave Hammy and hours training before he did the "task". Its been said they should never of let him do it!
Not sure how much truth is in it tho... cant always believe what u read

According to BBC that brought a smile to his face.. Good to hear he's well enough to enjoy a joke. Zanardi managed to get back into touring cars within 2 years of a 200mph crash that broke his pelvis and lost him both his legs. Hopefully a recovery for Richard will be swift and this will be added to the list of insults along with day time TV and teeth whitening.

It's the problem with the papers, some bits they get right but then you have one writer who can't be bothered finding the facts and proceeds to add his theories into the article.
