As before mate, good times!

Sorry I had to run btw, really needed to get home. Would have loved to hear it rumble at 100%.

no worries :) thankfully that little hiccup before you went turned out to just be the plugs sooted over from a mixture of the map pipe not being re-connected and the crank pulley sitting wrongly, throwing off the timing signal a fraction. sorted all that out, cleaned up plugs and lambda, re-did the pulley.... hugely better.

whole front end is now back on. looks a different car from when you first showed up ;)

good job mate :D
thats me on holiday now so im getting up to the sei all this week at some form or another :)

i also have news :D the exhaust is now welded on to the corolla :D and its LOUD :) probably a bit to loud so looking at a baffle for it :D

excuse the blurryness of that pic btw, tried to take a pic with the phone but the camera froze, only for it to decide to take the pic afterall when i took a step nearer the car

the sticker didn't want to stick, so had to glue it on  it's not perfect, but given the bumpers craked anyway it fits right in

also fixed my issue of the broken bumper clip on the cracked side and my hatred of the bolts for the bumper on the wing by drilling through the bumper and bolting it from the outside in, so it looks like frankenstein with the bolts through it's neck now :D the whole cars getting that really rough but built to be driven, not looked at kinda look now....at least i have a theme going

good news :D need to get that sei finished this week now :D

haha, at least it's a fixeable problem with the noise...as long as you dont blow the baffels out on lift like the vtecs can do :D

oh yeah, forgot to add, the cars getting a new look to go along with it's rough and ready apperance, means though i need to learn a bit more electrical for the next big mod ;)

About time!!!!!!!!!!! ~~~~

This project thread is lacking pics!

Ming

the reason being my main camera eats batteries and only takes a specific brand or it wont work at all, and in the garage it's too dark to take pics with an iphone when they are notoriously bad in even decent light  also dont like getting the camera or phone oily

there'll be alot of pics going up soon though, was going to clean it up today but it's been raining all day do didnt want to get the wheels wet and drive back in on carpet again

there'll be a couple of little tweaks soon, so we can play a game of spot the difference when i get it out the garage ;)

really chuffed how the sill came out, it's went from having it's seam totally caved in and outer shell crushed to now having a seam more or less perfect and the outer shell is just rippled slighty.......which wont be a problem for long ;)

after

and heres a few more pics...just because it was sunny
p.s, pics were before painting took place so lots of the inperfections are a bit less noticeable now :)

thats it back on the road

brakes were horrendous for about 15 minutes, buckets of vibration through the pedal, calmed down now though and is stopping pretty well

had a strange inncident in the shakedown though, indicated for a corner, braked, put the clutch down and lost the engine totally! noticed the battery and injection light on paniced but put my foot down on the accelerator and brought the clutch up smoothly, the engine re-started itself without touching anything else.....wtf?

got a few hesitations under acceleration but after that incident it was fine, wonder if it was a blockage in the fuel line or something...weird
