god i hate these stupid key **** they have now. why cant the immobo be on something different so if key go you can get new one easy.

soooo timpsons cant supply with a new coded key to use to start car ???

We tried (unsuccesfully) cloning a Ford key (KA from memory) but wouldn't work as was a rolling code.Not sure about fiesta though but could be a stumbling block/waste of money?

my mums old fiesta was a nightmare always needed new keys, the plastic bit once snapped off of the metal bit so got stuck in the lock!!!

sounds like a perfect excuse to fit a "start" button like on TVR's...

got the key done turns out that ford dont code the keys you do that yourself. had to stick red key in turn to position 2 then off reapeat this anther two times, then stick new key in and start car voial

THe Red key will start the car etc, but you should not use the red key other than when you want to programme another black key (I think 8 in total) Other wise the next time you put a black key in it may loose it's memory.

Mrs Liam's Fiasco is like this, down to the last key (red one) and it is ok to use it, it is like the black ones but should open all the doors, start the car and access the fuel cap.

Timpsons wanted £13 for a uncoded blank and £25 for a coded one, what a rip off!
