Technical  Duologic gearbox problem

Don't give up just yet.
From your posts it appears now the only gearbox code you are getting is brake light switch you may be close to fix.
Thanks for that ! Doesn't help that I am working long hours ( leave home 4.20 am back home 7.30 pm minimum)
And trying to decorate the house, and the car is outside someone else's house and the weather, it all builds up !

Brake switch sometimes come pushed in too far from new

There self adjusting, they pull out gently on a rachet

Take a look here

Thanks for that, interesting, will have a look at that when I next get to the car

Panda brake light switch is very easy to do, just takes minutes - twist out the old switch, pull out the plunger of the new switch, get an assistant to press the brake pedal, replace the switch, and very slowly release the brake pedal!

Thank you for the advice, it's most welcome,I am going to try and fit it tonight, along with new spark plugs, and give the seats a wash with the Vax, Tuesday, after seats have dried I will take it for a drive and see if any more fault codes come up, and if the gearbox is working as it should! Fingers crossed 🤞

Last night changed brake pedal switch, like MrMagoo said very easy to change, many thanks to him, didn't have time to take car for a drive, hopefully tonight, then check fault codes again, still have timing belt and water pump to change, if weather is good that's a job for Sunday if I am not working !

Been back to the panda took it for a good drive. Auto still not working correctly, did scan and these are the fault codes now

Ok it could be the gear position switch on the actuator, they can get oily inside and stop working correctly.
If selespeed fluid dripping out probably need new switch.

No but have found a few for you

Its on front of actuator little higher than pump motor

Thank you so much for that 😊

Nothing on eper resembling a transmission fluid temperature sensor

I guess its calculated from engine sensors

Wonder what happens if you disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor

The engine light and fans will come on, I wonder if the behaviour of the dialogic alters

Jackwhoo, said on previous post that it could be the diagnostic tool causing that code to come up !

Are you thinking of post28?
my thoughts are on the gear position switch sensor code

Post 28 wasn't me

Yes gear position switch can just be removed no pressurised fluid behind it

Image in post 51 do not rely on part number shown the image was provided to show what it looks like not for part number.
