yeah should be fine AFAIK.any damages etc i assume is covered by the towing vehicle.

yep, my guy has to have his towed to the mot station next month

Gaz No, if it's being Towed & driven it needs MOT tax & insurance, if it's on an A frame, dolly etc you don't need anything other than safe running order as has been stated before. Even on a solid bar tow you need MOT.
If it has to be driven i.e. steering & brakes you need all docs, if it doesn't need a driver your OK.

iirc you are allowed to tow to a place of repair,
