thought this was due a resurrection on how not to do winter tyres
I've found some Uni-royal Snowtrack winter tyres for £40 a tyre online recently
i'll be hopefully swapping to them when the time comes

i thought you supposed to go thinner on winter tyres
Exactly. If thinner tyres were better that would have never made the north pole..
To put it in perspective, my last coupe 20vt did better in the snow than the mk2b punto with thinner wheels. Punto had all weathers and coupe had summer tyres lol.
https://www.fiatforum.com/punto-ii/...mrpove-handling-especially-wet.html?p=2888826 am sure ive read it a few times on here
However narrow tires are definitely better on ice or snow. Also narrow tires are better for top speed and fuel economy.
i dunno what to do now, i bought new wheels the other day because everyone used to say skinny is better, now everyone is saying wide is better
whats the handbook say?
