Been searching the forum for days now looking for an answer to my problem. I have a Punto 2017 1.2 petrol had it for 12 months (car went limp in traffic, there was no throttle response and I had to glide off the road to safety. The car will run for about 1 minute and then it triggers a check engine light and displays a message that the ESC & Hill Assist are unavailable, the engine starts to make a chugging sound and holds the revs around 1700RPM, throttle pedal is dead during this). I was really pleased i had recovery. It has been in the local garage express fit auto centre, they said it had a MAF fault code but the car does not have a MAF sensor fitted. so has the car was now running ok they said just drive it and see how it goes.
Sorry for this being long winded but any help would be very much appreciated.
