Recently went on a trip up the M5/M6 motorway in my 2012 Trekking, Twin Air.

81.9 mpg

Good little cars

Ours has 16k..but will do high 60's on a run

So should be 70's once run in..


How are you finding the car..?

What's the consumption like round town in the cold weather though?
Most accurate way is a tank to tank full calculation. I find the on board computer is a few MPG optimistic.

The pre-Euro6 engines were generally better performing, MPG wise (true of 1.2 and the MultiJet diesel too). After changes in later life to perform better under WLTP tests, they all seem to be worse!

I'd like to see the average speed on that trip though. No way would you get that at 70-75 mph.
Edit....... must be 50mph according to time traveled and mileage

Same journey in my TA 4x4 you might get mid 50's. I'd get 40 my driving style if I'm lucky. 5 miles home from my favoured petrol station, reads average at start of around 12-19mpg. Can improve this to about 39 but hard work. So welly it instead.

Best on my punto is 83mpg.. @24k miles

The Panda is 68mpg @15k

Yes cold weather kills mpg on a twinair.

My punto has 51.6 over last 6.5k

Now at 52k..

Moultoneer had a solid 73mpg with his TA

'Rolling in top' is the key..
And I suppose being a cyclist..the TA's lack of engine braking was a boon.

My fleet is mixed mj and TA..

SO adapting to the motors likes is a bit trickier.. all better than the old 1108's though..which thrived on revs
