What does Add Area do?
Edit: Because I think you have to create an "area" first (ie. a location, like "Home") then add the device underneath it

got a bit further, in that zone box i typed in home, then it activated add device, i then did ip search and it found h264dvr and it added that ip address, still no picture though.
I'll have a look when I get home but I think you right click on the device in that list and add the individual cameras, they'll then start showing the pictures. Been a while since I set mine up but I do remember it was a ball ache.

For mine I downloaded an app called NVSIP, then used the CloudID (seen in one of your early screenshots) and set up an account.
