Thought we'd better let those of you who know us know, that Tom and I had a little boy on Tuesday 9th November.

His name is Noah, he weighed 7lb and was born at home.

:D
 
Went to look at some Audi A3s....

That didn't make me smile nice as they are although someone attempting to buy the swift off me did :D...Started with some general questions about and then asked what I wanted for it lol...

Although considering I find running and insuring it to be very expensive for what it is (mmm 38mpg on a good day, 155 quid tax, 700 quid insurance despite me being over 25, 9k service intervals) I dread to think how much it'd cost as a first car...
 
Two things made me smile today:

  1. The look on the face of my boss when I told him I would not be accepting the full time contract here and will be returning to the UK
  2. The joke below:


A frog goes into a bank and
approaches the cashier. He
can see from her nameplate
that her name is Patricia Whack.

"Miss Whack, I'd like to get
a £30,000 loan to take a holiday."


Patty looks at the frog in
disbelief and asks his name.

The frog says his name is
Kermit Jagger, his dad is
Mick Jagger, and that it's
okay, he knows the bank
manager.

Patty explains that he will
need to guarantee the loan with
some security.

The frog says, "Sure. I have
this," and produces a tiny
porcelain elephant, about an
inch tall, bright pink and
perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patty explains
that she'll have to consult
with the bank manager and
disappears into a back office.

She finds the manager and
says, "There's a frog called
Kermit Jagger out there who
claims to know you and wants
to borrow £30,000, and he
wants to use this as security."

She holds up the tiny pink
elephant. "I mean, what in
the world is this?"

The bank manager looks back
at her and says.

"It's a knickknack, Patty
Whack. Give the frog a loan,
His old man's a Rolling Stone."

It was 2107.60 actually lol but had I paid full price it would have cost considerably more. :D
Point being when spending over £2k on a laptop it would be nice to choose the screen you want FOC.

Now I just need to upgrade the ram but that can wait. Anybody want to swap 8gig for a pro version of Adobe CS3 lol.

my smile is im listening to my best friends first album and its amazing and making me smile and just i dunno a nice feeling, im really happy for him :)

Woo hoo! Congrats!

Not sure if its a smile or a grump at the moment, but got a meeting with a Inspecter in a bit about my time as a Special, hopefully get a few things sorted!
