sent an email round the world last night before i left about how we cant deliver via couriers to site addresses.....
got one back from the contracts manager saying that we can because weve done it before.... to which i replied that weve delivered there before (on our own wagon)....
he sent a really snooty one back
so my managing director emailed him back saying that what i said is correct, and one to me thanking me for using my initiative...

and im going to pizza express tonight omnomnomnomn :worship:

My bosses cornered me if before ( I immediately thought it was because I've been complaining all day of the aircon not working)
So went into the conference room and sat down to be told that they wanted me to work 5 days a week instead of 4 1/2. So I said I was going to be filling in a form to change my contract to 4 days a week (I wasnt I was just in a bad mood) and they said that they'd start paying my travel expenses if I carried on working 4 1/2 days as a compromise
result = Win!!!

280kms out of ~1/3 of a tank of petrol, achived though careful dicipline (not speeding and not going over 3k RPM) with the exception of the last 10ks...which I was 'chased' by a hoon in a V8 who couldnt keep up with the ****ty ***** that I was driving its all down to driver skill (or lack of it on his part )
