In my seemingly never ending quest to get the classifieds up to top spec, I've been working hard over the weekend (in between throwing up with sickness, how dedicated am I?!?!) to get a WYSIWYG implementation working.

We had the issue before where people providing links to individual posts would have their links invalidated if they had a custom "posts per page" setting.

This has now been fixed, so all links to post numbers will now work - regardless of what your setting is

 

You can now stay up to date with FIAT Forum news by using Twitter (http://www.twitter.com).

Currently I'll just be using it to update you guys when I need to take the forum offline for a bit (how long left, what's going on etc) - but I'm sure in the future I can make it a lot more...

 

Finally an update has been released which allows the gallery flash uploader to work again under Flash 10

I've just tested it and all seems well - sorry about the wait, they took blooming ages to sort that one out!

Updated so it's now completely up to date and covers quite a new things, including advertising issues (which had been quite ambiguos before).

In further link related news, I've gone through and cleaned up the links directory - moving incorrectly places ones and deleted dead ones.

So now we have a nice fresh usable directory - hurrah!

After waiting around a billion years for this, we've finally got hold of a decent garage mod.

It's still in beta and has loads to be added (and the look somewhat changed) - however the main functionality is there, so what better time than the present to get stuck in.

Finally brought the homepage up to date with the missing boxes that had been present on the old one.

Alternating between a text list and non to try and break up the busyness, so we've now got the classifieds search back - as well as a random images block.

Got rid of the portal page we used to have as an entry page, to replace it with the standard forum listing.

Have integrated some of the original portal info down the right though, so hopefully now more people will see it.
