General yet another problem ive ran into

was trying to finish off the car today ready for the re test and i tried to tighten the handbrake.

basically under the handbrake gaiter ive tightened the cable as tight and as far in as it will go however the handbrake still isnt that tight and goea almost all the way up.

is there a certain way to tighten these cables or do i need a new one, cable on it is only 7 months old

Cable is probably shot. I'm planning on replacing mine annualy regardless as it saves pain in the long run and they're only about £12-18 depending on the side from unipart.

hello anyway of telling whether the cable is done for? this car really starting ti p155 me off now

Sure you adjust the rears (drum brakes) inside the brake drums them selves individually, then take up the slack from the mentioned adjuster.
