Technical 2010 Multipla Front electric windows problem

By the driver They are separate switches entirely .....not twin switches as we are now used to on other vehicles

Have you powered down the system at any point..

Yes only the passenger window switch on the drivers door was the one replaced

Thanks for the advice have by a stroke of luck got the windows working but not the passenger side with the switch on the drivers side.The fuse box is nothing like the manual.It was only by luck that I saw part of the fuse holders were missing and I found that they had dropped down out of sight.When I man aged to get them back to where they should be a 7.5 amp fuse was blown replaced it and normal service resumed.Ther must be a fault somewhere because as soon as I plugged the new passenger side switch in it blew the fuse.I can live with that as both windows operate.
