Hi folks
My Multipla had a fault where the front window switch on the driver's side for the passenger side window had failed, so I replaced it and now both windows won't operate at all, completely dead.
Logically, I suspected it was the fuse, so I looked to change it and to my surprise, the diagram in the handbook bears no relation to the fuse box actually fitted to the car.
However, after some internet searching I discovered that the diagram for the mkI multipla does match my fuse box. So I pulled the 20A fuse I thought was for the electric windows and it's not blown, I tried replacing it anyways, still no life in the windows. So now I'm wondering if I do have the correct info on the fuse box and if I did find the right fuse. I'm stumped.
The fuse I replaced is F3 in the diagram below.
