What does this have to do with the price of fish?

Anyhow, what do they say, "The price of freedom is constant vigilance"? Browsing my own pictures couple of days back I noticed some worrying things on my turbo oil feed line. Closer inspection in the car showed an instant need for replacement. I basically caught a near disaster right in time. Pictures show the rest.

Yes, this is exactly the picture that got me worried. At the time when I took it I was way too much concerned with the problem at hand to even notice this.

Running n/a with a seized turbo was the least of my concerns. Loosing all the oil and seizing the engie was a bigger one, catching fire from hot oil spilt on the red hot turbo was the biggest.

The root of the problem is the worn out right hand side engine mount. The engine started leaning against the slam panel and friction started its tedious work. The new line should be prone to this problem (y)

Point to brag :D I made all this without removing the rad. Paradoxically the lower connection was much more difficult to put back on, because the new line I got made is about half an inch too long and very stiff, very tedious to get the nipple thread engadged.

EDIT: I think I used the word "prone" in the wrong way :D :D I meant the opposite ;)

Where to buy oil lines for turbo? Woj you buy on internet or some local shop?
 
I am sure you can find an internet shop that would deliver custom made ones, try Mocal's website, see what they offer. But the simplest solution is find the nearest "industrial hydraulics" workshop near you and let them do it up to your spec. Then you can always discuss what you need with a pen and paper in hand, touch the hoses yourself, etc. I always happen to have one nearby whereever I move, the one I used now is for example this:

What you may find problematic though, these things delivered by places like that are usually pricey. The turbo oil line now costed me 50 Euros, the oil cooler lines two years back were 180 Euro, but only because I bought them much longer than I had to and then cut them to size myself, brought them back for final crimpinig. But they would be in the range of 100 Euro anyhow. Mocal might have ready products that are cheaper, but I am not sure.
 
Depending on what you choose to use, you should be able to buy and assemble what you need yourself (except in the case of crimped hoses).

I never specced the hoses on my old tub, but the feed pipe looked very much like aeroquip brake hose, while The oil cooler pipe was stainless overbraided stuff as used by club racers here. The return pipe was nothing special.

The pressures and temperatures involved are nothing special, with the exception of the ambient temperatures in some locations. Generally you'll have to take care of that by some form of thermal wrapping and careful routing.

Goodridge used to do excellent documentation. Don't know if they still do.

Last time I used a spare braided brake line of a VW beetle and it worked fine.

For the return as all ready mentioned just some decent quality pipe, prefferably with a decent temperature range.

Oil cooler wise Mocal or similar as has been suggested, I will be using crimped Hydraulic hoses like Woj as I get them for cost. :D
