Try putting "Easy Rider Sound Track" into you tube and sit back and enjoy, My favourite is the Byrds " Wasn't born to follow". Steppenwolf's "The Pusher" too. Back then we all dreamed of going to California and the Mamas and the Papas "California Dreaming" always takes me right back to those wild free days when I'd just met the futures Mrs J and hadn't a care in the world bombing around in my little old 850 mini! she was more into that sort of stuff and I played it a lot for her. Myself? I was more into the Stones, Animals, stuff like that. A bit later I discovered Sheryl Crow amongst others, how about "Maybe Angels" played loud on a decent system or through cans?Try searching “The dukes of the stratosphere “they have some good tunes my love explodes & 25 o’clock, The Eyes rowed out .
“The Prisoners “that were around in the eighties were good live too![]()

One I never tire of is David Gilmore's guitar playing in Comfortably Numb. Cans on, eyes shut and volume up. Don't think I'll ever grow tired of listening to it.added a few random ones from each of these artists into a playlist, look forward to giving them a proper listen this week
And yes, California Dreaming, funnily enough, was one of the first 60s songs recommended to my by Apple Music a decade ago that started all of this. And this month listening to it a lot as every time I leave the house to walk somewhere and the weathers crap I keep thinking to myself I’ve been for a walkkkkkkk .. on a winters day.. and once you sing that in your head it’s there for hours no going back!
