Sorry there are no valves in TPMS system. Its ecu based via ABS wheel speed sensors. Put the right presures in all tyres and reset tpms in the trip computer. Confirm reset and you are done
Dflated tyres are a different circumference than inflated ones, and the speed sensors can detect this. They can be tempremental but it OK as a warning . Tyres can be pretty soft if the light does come on so always stop straight away and check if it gives a warning light.
"pressures" are not sensed per se. Because it is measuring and comparing rotational speeds the relevant metric is rolling diameter. So if your new tyre is significantly different this will be the issue - I'm not sure there is a "reset"?
